Jazi Riley
Intern
Jazi Riley started interning for the BXEDC in January of 2025. She is a senior student at Manhattan University studying Philosophy and Political Science, and is excited to support initiatives that drive economic growth and opportunity in The Bronx. At Manhattan University she serves as Student Body President, a role she's held for 2 years, and is active across campus in Model UN, Ethics and Debate team, and leads service trips and leadership retreats. As a Branigan Research Scholar, Recreation Department Student Worker, and former Orientation leader at Manhattan University, her experience extends to research, event planning, and community engagement. She has also worked in hospitality and nightlife in NYC, ensuring efficient service operations.
Prior to the BXEDC, Jazi gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the Florida State Attorney’s Office, 10th Judicial Circuit , where she conducted case research and analyzed defendant communications. With a strong foundation in leadership, research, and strategic communication, Jazi is committed to making a meaningful impact in her field and her work at the BXEDC.
